Get what you’re saying about the mayday experience, but no footballer will make a decision on their career based on stadium capacity imo like.

It’s about what’s more of an attractive prospect for their career, not how big of an arena they’d be playing in, they aren’t a footy tourist.

They might make it based on infrastructure though. Ground, training facilities etc

True that, but if the ‘project’ is ambitious enough and backed by huge and impressive support it’s got to count for something. His former team mate and captain has bought into it, so why shouldn’t he.

If they sell Martinez then FFP wise they can easily afford Petrovic with plenty left over to spend elsewhere.

We've got to try and get him signed up before that happens, and not let ourselves get into a situation where we are waiting for on his decision whilst he's just holding off waiting for Villa or someone else.

Yeah I agree, he could well look at our vision and what we can offer him career wise and choose us over the likes of Bournemouth because of the “project” etc. it’s entirely possible. But that’s what the decision would be made off, not off the size of the crowd.

You’re right, the longer it drags on the more likely other options become available. We need to do this quickly.

Still can’t see too many thinking Bournemouth a more attractive football destination than us like. Possibly a whole lifestyle thing though….

I agree. To help him make his decision we should go and sign his club captain from last season so he's got a friendly face he trusts in the dressing room

Ah yeah don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting for one minute that he couldn’t or wouldn’t sign for us, just that it’s ludicrous to suggest players would sign for a club based on stadium!

For the record, I think we will be able to get him in based on our vision.
