Petrovic

this is the L’equipe article from this morning

Petrovic, too expensive for Strasbourg to bring him back?

But, after spending more than €100 million in transfer on this single position over the last three seasons (35 for Sanchez, 25 for Jorgensen, 20 for Penders, 16 for Petrovic and 7 for Slonina), his leaders made him understand that they were more in the perspective of selling him rather than making him a number 1. Its price has been set at around €25 million, a sum that Strasbourg cannot pay for a guardian. Petrovic could therefore join Sunderland or Bournemouth, two interested clubs, with the higher financial surface.

Basically no update from a week ago, just saying Strasbourg aren’t interested but that’s a good thing. Hopefully media are starting to get wind

Bournemouth apparently been interested from the start but no reports of them pursuing a deal so I think we actually are ahead

He’ll be a name on a list for Bournemouth but we’re pushing hard

Let’s hope anyway
Ha'way the higher financial surface

His instagram suggests yes.

3 days ago Sacha, Europe’s most respected source of transfer news said he was nailed on just sorting out final details.

Based on nowt but SAFC fan pessimism, people are saying i don’t think he fancies it. His captain from last season is already here, He’ll be on his way, relax.
I’m fine mate cheers

I could see a keeper coming out the blue that no one has mentioned and suddenly he is having a medical.

Our business is usually not dragged along like this.
Lucas Perri, the 27 years old Brazilian goalkeeper at Lyon appears to be attracting the attention of Leeds and Newcastle.

Given that we seem to like shopping in France and thwarting Leeds. He would also have the added attraction of not going to AFCON

Dragged

It’s been 6 days since we even knew we were interested
I was meaning we normally don’t hear much in the press about our targets until it’s pretty much done. Dragged probably not the right word.

This one seems to be doing the rounds in a lot of rumour press without something more concrete.

Victim of our own success really. We've been trained to expect signings to by done within hours of the names being reported. As soon as a transfer drags more than 48 hours we all assume it's gone tits up, when in reality, this is perfectly normal for 99% of deals
