People who aren't renewing

My brother in law is packing it in. Going back to when the SoL first opened there was 9 of us all sat together in the West Stand. We'd all meet up for a good drink beforehand and stay out for a few hours afterwards. As the years went on the numbers dwindled and by the start of the 18/19 season it was just me and him. I packed mine in the following year so he was left by himself although I still went to a few games match by match. I had a feeling he'd call it a day at the end of this season as he's misssed a fair few games simply cos he couldn't be bothered.

Think renewals will drop off this season as people are pissed off with the club and others will have to do some serious belt tightening, but numbers should still remain healthy, 18/20k I reckon.

Can’t for the life of me think of one reason to get a season ticket again .It’s awful to watch with not much hope at all .

Still go but will be mainly corporate and part of a bigger day out .Days of me going straight to the match for 90mins,then straight home are long long gone .

Would love to know how many of those who aren't renewing because of methven and Donald still being there would renew if we found ourselves back in the premier League in a couple of years time and Donald and methven were still at the club in the background
Many wouldn’t give a fuck who owned the club if we were in the PL. We have those kind of supporters like every other club.

The pub, before and after, is what makes it bearable.

I’m renewing simply because the bairn still wants to go and also enjoy away games so don’t want to lose the loyalty points.

3 of my mates who’ve had season tickets since 1990 season have rapped in and I wouldn’t blame anyone for not renewing, it’s just not enjoyable anymore, feels like a chore going to home games.
That last bit hit's the nail on the head for me, I wasn't going to renew this season so cancelled the direct debit, when they sent the letter about the missed payment it got me thinking so I called and paid the outsanding balance and kept the direct debits up to date. I've probably only been to 4/5 games all season as just have no desire to do something that is not enjoyable anymore. Then hearing that c*ntface and twat still own a good chunk really deflated me. Won't be renewing this season. If I want to see the lads I normally stand with I'll arrange a night out anyway.

That's the crux of the matter. It's not enjoyable anymore. Hasn't been for a long while. The football is poor, the atmosphere reflects that. I was fed up of coming away totally deflated just about every other week. And as you say, finding out that those 2 parasites still have their noses in the trough and KLD being less than open about the ownership situation just rubs loads more salt into the wounds.

Going to be a problem for a lot of supporters next few months
can't blame anybody now, cost of living energy bills, petrol etc
That’s going to be a shock to those at the club, it’s going to be a major shock come October again, lots of grounds are going to struggle to get people in the door I reckon.
