Pease Pudding.

Get some down your neck lad.
I make it every time I boil a ham.
Just doesn't keep long, and being the only one in our house from the NE, I'm to only one that eats it.
Have to make my own Stotties anarl, cos they don't do them down here. 😔😔😔
@Becs put a recipe up which I have stolen and tweaked and now bask in its glory.

Put a gammon joint in the slow cooker (just a crap £4 gammon will do)
Top up to top with water
Add 2 bay leaves and pepper (I put plenty in)
Slow cook till it’s falling apart, about 3 hours.
Remove gammon and bay leaves, add 500g yellow split peas to the hammy watta. Can put some shredded gammon in if you like.
cook until gloriousness is achieved. About 2 - 3 hours.
Thats about how I do it really.
Hairy bikers do a canny recipe anarl.
