125g Butter
3 shallots
2 garlic cloves
2 rashers smoked bacon
125g green split peas soaked overnight in cold water
125g yellow split peas soaked
Pint of chicken stock
Handfull of parsley
Roughly chop the shallot, garlic, bacon. Saute, add everything else and cook for 40 minutes simmer. Add parsley and a squeeze of lemon at the end.
Much better than what anyone else makes.
