He’s a very good manager.
The bar for "very good manager" is very low these days like
Gutting day yesterday. To be so close and then lose like that was crap but we can hold our head high that we have it everything and pushed them the way we did. Apparently County have only led for 1 min of the 240 mins they played in the play offs which was after the late winner in the semi final.
We’re in a better place now than ever to get back in the league now, no one really stands out as capable of doing what those two did this season apart from maybe us. There is a buzz about the club in the town again, this season saw an average attendance only beaten by Cooks title winning season.
We go again!!
Not really. They were one of the favorites for promotion and ended up miles off Wrexham and Notts CountyDone a good job at Chesterfield.

He's a total arse anarl, behaves like a complete prat to refs
He’s a good manager end of story. Decent track record and if you had to put up with some of the decisions we see each week you’d give the refs hell as well. Not really. They were one of the favorites for promotion and ended up miles off Wrexham and Notts County

Never acceptable to give refs and linos abuse to their faces, not on mate at all. I remember us playing Ipswich and having to witness his antics, stuff he said was disgustingHe’s a good manager end of story. Didn't he make an attempt to get the ball though, hence it's only a yellow and a pen these days? Although I don't even think he got booked. He’s a good manager end of story. Decent track record and if you had to put up with some of the decisions we see each week you’d give the refs hell as well.
Yesterday their keeper denied a goal scoring opportunity in the opening minutes when he messed up a goal kick and should have gone but wasn’t even booked then wasn’t booked when wiping someone out for a penalty.
Penalty should have been yellow but was given nothing, incident prior to that was where he apparently should have seen red. Messed up taking the goal kick so our lad almost has a free shot on goal so he kicks it again. Ended up with an indirect free kick 8yds out but apparently he should have been red carded for it but not even a yellow shown.Didn't he make an attempt to get the ball though, hence it's only a yellow and a pen these days? Definitely doing well but their budget is massive compared to the league, likes of Grigg and Naylor in their teamChesterfield currently 19 points clear with 16 games to go.
Done a hell of a job there.
What the fuck have I just seen
Could be 22 by end of tonight if we win at Dagenham as it’s one of our games in hand with Barnet etc not playing.Chesterfield currently 19 points clear with 16 games to go.

Budget is bigger partly due to our crowds which are better than most league 2 and some league 1 clubs but Grigg/naylor aside we’ve not done what Wrexham did and paid a fortune to ex league players. Rest of side is either young lads picked up after release from league clubs or our keeper is on loan from Everton after playing in National League north for Chester last season then we’ve loads that have generally been non league for the majority of their careers. Lad who scored last few games was picked up from Macclesfield earlier this season.Definitely doing well but their budget is massive compared to the league, likes of Grigg and Naylor in their team

Big budget hasn’t helped likes of Oldham who have chucked £4K a week at Norwood and can barely maintain a play off challenge. They’ve loads of ex league players, Barnet have Gary hooper and just signed Luke freeman who was promoters with Luton last season. National league is basically league 3 these days and standard of a lot of teams in there is better than league 2 with the current promotion/relegation setup causing a bottleneck.
What we’ve done so far this season is pretty ridiculous to be honest and we could be title winners by first week of March! This side would have been there with Wrexham and county last season.
