Patrick Roberts to Birmingham compendium


Having a great game today. Really good to see and thoroughly enjoying watching him perform well.

Been a good servant to the club has Paddy. Wish him the best if he goes
 
He was the most frustrating player I think I’ve ever seen in a Sunderland shirt.

Excellent close control, some lovely touches, but so many times he’d run at defenders and lose the ball. Just before the Watson winner at Wembley was a prime example. When he did get into good shooting positions he looked like he couldn’t hit a barn door. That was in the Champ, no chance he’d be any better in the Prem.

Will always be grateful to him though, some absolutely vital goals/assists in L1/Champ play offs. Him and Amad were a joy to watch too.
 
I love Pat and each of our wingers now is frustrating in some way or other. So why would you seriously want to reintroduce Roberts into that?
