Patrick Roberts to Birmingham compendium

Well 3 of them were strikers, arguably 4...... but sound 😂👍
Who else than Anichebe?

Primarily left winger for us
Versatile player but primarily winger for us
Definitely wrong about Anichebe, thought he played on the left for us nevermind.
Primarily right winger
So shit I don't actually remember him playing but never played up front.

Averages 4.5 assists a season in league 1 and championship in his peak years 😂👌

I get he gave us two moments of brilliance at key moments, but his general play for 4 years has been below par
Give up whilst you are just laughabke, don't carry on until you are ridiculed for lunacy😁

O'brien signed as a striker or played no.10
Watmore played up front more than on the wing
Lua lua played about 3 games
Anichebe was 100% a striker who was probably played out of position a couple of times

He averages 1 goal OR assist in every 9 games!

And you're talking about a player who has played consistently in arguably sunderlands worst few years in the football league.

Most seasons hes played for us we have been pushing for promotion with him as part of a front 3.

9 goals in 4 seasons is shocking.

Id love to see his stats for possession lost, hes shocking!
Stats, stats and more stats - an easy 'win' when wanting to boost/batter a player.

Sometimes people just need to watch the game and see how a player does or doesn't influence a moment, game or season.

Roberts has done just about as much as anyone, in his time at Sunderland, to influence moments, games and, ultimately, seasons. A tremendous pro and will be well remembered by those who just like to watch football than get bogged down with stat overkill.

Agreed. We only have Talbi for the right hand side.
Not only that but isn't he right footed. I know RLB doesn't seem afraid of playing wingers on their strong foot sides but both him and Adingra appear that way.
Possibly a late move for a left footed wide forward?

Good luck to Roberts. Cracking footballer, no harm in falling just short of being a regular premier league player and fair play for choosing to move for regular game time.
