Parking for home games

What is the issue people have with the park and ride?

Use it regularly and have for years, never had any bother.

People are just getting tickets because they are parking in spaces that belong to the little butchers, bakers and candlestick makers, rather than the massive retail park one that the club quite clearly have an arrangement with.
The queues for the return buses puts me off.

I used to use the park and ride, and park in Defender Court all with loads of others, where the park and ride starts. Then signs went up saying no parking on match days, which defeats the object of a park and ride. I park much nearer the the ground now and have a 10 minute walk
With the new bridge, it’s easier to park at the Uni (town side - £3 all day) and get out that way so you don’t get stuck on the Wessy Way.
Is this pay at a machine, or an app or cash to someone? Might give it a go on Wednesday

Cash to rotary club who are on entrances

I’d tell the OP to park at Tesco but you never get out! I know it gets dark but you really oight to know where the pavement ends and the road begins.

Coming from the bottom of Chester Road/Durham Road go along Hind Street take the first left after the Premier Inn before you hit the roundabout and bear left up the bank for the car parks.

Sunniside
Just 2 open again last night.

Last two home games they’ve had the barrier set as open after the game. Pointless even paying
Theyve no changed this to number plate recognition to park! Much easier to validate in the casino now though. No longer taking cash either.

Would be nice for the council to update their website about this so people know I’m advance 🤨….
