TBF we did pretty much the same at our place. Not as defensive, but we let them fanny about with it, then took our chances.

Granted our striker was helping out at left back at times like cisse yesterday. I say fair play to the mags. Yeah they've been a bit fluky at times, but they deserve to be there.
