    Embarrassing thread.

They've had moments where things have gone their way, of course, but you don't just happen to stumble your way to 5th place in the league after 31 games purely on luck.

Swansea are very ordinary, and it was a thoroughly professional performance from the Mags sadly.

Spot on. They have had some luck this season but they didn't need any today, they sat there and defended well, they counter attacked and scores two goals. It's similar to how we have played a number of times under MON.

Some right embarrassments on here tonight

Perfect tactics against them and Martin O'Neill used the same tactics at home, let them pass all they want in their own half when they do attack take the ball and break at them in numbers.

We've got enough Newcastle threads and we look sad as fuck, let them enjoy this season, just means the expectations will be unrealistic next season and it will be fun when they don't live up to their expectations.

32 games in and it's still all down to luck?

Yup. In fact, we did exactly the same thing against Swansea at the SoL and no one on here claimed we were lucky. It appears when we concede more possession and shots it's all part of the tactics, but when the Mags do it it's ''lucky as fuck''. Some people are bitter as owt.

Let them have their moment in the sunshine, they've done well this season and fair play to them for mixing it with the big boys. I sincerely hope they don't make the Champions League, but their run this season gives hope that the likes of SAFC can push for European places in years to come.

Embarrassing? they were lucky as fuck. and anyone who thinks defferently is totally clueless.

Suppose you put it all down to good management and brill players that they are in a unrealistic position

They do have some good players and a good spine (when they are all fit) but they have had some unreal luck this season. Goals bouncing in off there arses, offside goals, should have had players sent off (IE Simpson V Liverpool, Tiote V Us), key decisions going there way, good runs of easier games, players who even NUFC fans thought were shit who have stepped up to the plate, got away with replacing last seasons best players on the cheap.

    I could go on...
