His batting has been very poor for a good while now. He just never seems to know what tempo to bat at. Sometimes goes gung ho too early, then other times he’s way too cautious and gets out playing a nothing shot. I think Bazball has scrambled his brain when it comes to batting.
 
The problem been which was always a concern and that has come to fruition.

When teams prepare wickets solely to suit just spinners we always going to struggle.

As our spinners not very good and have not been for years

Yeah and Durham goggles off for a minute, he was dropped because he was shit and averaged about 20. Makes Crawley’s 30+ look pretty good. And like I said earlier, Duckett, who some would replace, has performed and averages over 40. They don’t just do this on a whim.

Even Pope, whose position must be in some doubt, doesn’t have an obvious replacement. Despite my comment about eight hours ago, none of the “he’s shit” brigade have come up with one. The replacement has to be better guys not worse.

Can't argue with that. Pope is Ian Bell lite but there is not an obvious replacement like.
