Aye they are punishing us now. Impressive tbh the way they've gone about it when under pressure as in the past they've crumbled.Test is lost now, England aren’t recovering from this. Not a chance. Expect we won’t even make 150.

It’s not lost yet. We’re behind but it’s not lostThat’s not what you said pal, not even close.
BUT, a ball doing what that did to Root on the first morning of a test isn’t good bowling.

Not a test class spinner we can’t bowl spin or play it sadly mate.He was shite last night too. Worse from Stokes though, it’s up to him to take him off.
1st test should preven a complete loss of faith. Tough ask mind. It’s not lost yet. We’re behind but it’s not lost

Another half-an-hour of this and we're getting into innings defeat territory.
I struggle to understand how England continually have issues removing tail-end batsmen - it's like they collectively sh!t their pants when someone starts giving it the 'long handle'.

I think we know that with this side it’s rarely over. Either way. They only crumble in the third innings and they won’t have to do it here
It’s one of life’s big mysteries, but I’d certainly suggest that the main problem in this game has been the fact they simply stopped trying to get one half of each of the last two partnerships out. Their bowling and tactics to Saud since lunch have been a f*cking disgrace.
Let it go mate, seriously, it’s over.
@Jap Stammer actually has a point, there’s more chance of us losing by an innings from this position.
Well done the hosts. All the talk was about the pitch/their spin but their batsmen have really wrestled things back in their favour since lunch.

Unlikely. But can I see this Pakistan team being rolled over in a 4th innings? Yeah.New Zealand lead by 300 runs with 5 wickets remaining… one positive for us all to grab hold of from the world of cricket today.
Tidied.
We’d have to get a lead over 250 mate, can you see our lot scoring over 300 on this deck??
Bowlers not batters have wrestled it back, struggling to think of a more dissapointing day from Stokes captaincyWell done the hosts. All the talk was about the pitch/their spin but their batsmen have really wrestled things back in their favour since tea.
Agreed. They should also be trying to put the 'set' batsman under as much pressure as possible as he will be thinking it's all down to him. He might then offer up a chance through trying to hit his way out of it.It’s one of life’s big mysteries, but I’d certainly suggest that the main problem in this game has been the fact they simply stopped trying to get one half of each of the last two partnerships out. Nah, they'll bat as long as they can on the assumption that they can, and probably will, remove the bulk of England's top order before we even reach parity.Pakistan should declare, get us in for half hour at the close
