After seeing the Ajmal and Strauss dismissals I don't think any appeal is ridiculous. If these two put on 100 then we might just have a chance.......
 

England are batting so shoddily that I'm starting to think this could be fixed. They're not doing much to persuade me otherwise. The batting is child-like :-o

Or the alternative view, we are now seeing England in their true colours, a decent team but nowt special and the worlds best bowling attack now rid of corruption showing their class

Hang on, I thought South Africa had the world's best bowling attack. Make up your mind. Alternatively, what we are really seeing is England's decent batting line up playing badly against Pakistan's decent bowling attack playing well. That's cricket and we'll need to pick ourselves up from this for next week. Fuck the IPL, it's a load of shite and would teach our batsmen nothing. I'm glad we're treating it with the contempt it deserves and playing real cricket while it's on.

At least we wont have to listen to the Windies captain bemoaning the fact he has to play in England in May this time round when the IPL is being played.

Prior gone.

Batting performance is disgraceful and Flower should consider standing down as coach. Our performances against spin have been piss poor since he took over and he should carry the can.

we beat a load of crap under laden skies over the last year, Flower has benefited from Duncan Fletcher almost begging the ECB to get the central contracts off the ground years ago so our quicks are well rested for test matches. Combined with this, he has inherited a few decent saffers to bolster the ranks and yet when push comes to shove we still have no clue against spin which is down to Flower.

The question stands what has Andy Flower done to turn England into a formidable test side. Sweet FA

Playing against the Indians in their own back yard is exatly what we need. Any fool can see that after this latest shambolic effort in Asia

Did 5 ODI in India when the batsman barely put up a whimper not count as practice in these conditions?

Or is one day cricket and test cricket so vastly different that nothing could possibly be gained
