They cant contain viruses man nevermind cure them. Sprinkle of rhino horn, bear bile and a stinger of a scorpion.
Here’s hoping, mind they are surprisingly bullish about all thisThe UK could be vaccinated for Covid-19 by Christmas, says Oxford vaccine developer
The accelerated development of a coronavirus vaccine could mean the UK is fully vaccinated by Christmas.www.lbc.co.uk
They still haven’t responded to this yet.
Did The Oxford Covid Vaccine Work In Monkeys? Not Really
The latest data on the vaccine being developed out of Oxford shows limited success.www.forbes.com
Good old West WhingerThey did

We are writing in response to the article published on Forbes online on 16th May by William Haseltine relating to the BioRxiv preprint publication ‘ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccination prevents SARSCoV-2 pneumonia in rhesus macaques' by van Doremalen et al (2020).www.jenner.ac.uk

They didn’t. They simply said the comparison between the two couldn’t be made. They can’t deny the data that they themselves published that showed the vaccine had limited effect. They did

In some of the monkeys they tested the disease was at a similar level to those that had been vaccinated. Can someone put his claims into simple words
It didn’t stop the virus but did stop the severe symptoms (Covid) iirc. Why would they be bothering to press on then if they knew it was a write offChortle because my username is winger.

No, their response was to the comparison between the two vaccines, not the fact that their vaccine still didn’t stop every monkeys tested from catching the virus. You said that Oxford didnt respond to the forbes artictle . The first few lines of that article literally said it was in response to the forbes article. Also watch part of that video i also posted.

All of the vaccinated monkeys treated with the Oxford vaccine became infected, as judged by recovery of virus genomic RNA from nasal secretions. There was no difference in the amount of viral RNA detected from this site in the vaccinated monkeys as compared to the unvaccinated animals. Which is to say, all vaccinated animals were infected.
Again no. A response would be why they’re carrying on when their own data shows that their vaccine is of limited efficacy. So they did respond then.
