100% agree the post you replied to was pathetic.

But is the OP ‘willing to get off his arse?’ Or is he only willing to post words on a forum. Still so much derision towards those who don’t want to protest (some of it deserved for their derision towards those who do want to protest). 26 pages and not a single idea put forward yet. Forget those who don’t want to protest, that is their prerogative. Do something. Organise something.
I get your points. The reality is it probably needs a fans group (rawa) to organise something. Its also probably not ideal timing as we fight to scrape into the play offs. Added to this we have a fans meeting coming up and I suspect the strong hope is we'll find out the answers to many of the pressing questions (wishful thinking I know).

And i don't think there is any derision (certainly from what I've seen) to those who don't want to protest. Those who are actively pushing against such actions are a different matter.

Interesting view.
For various reasons you probably won’t get any discussion on that event.
All I will say is that the showing of the red cards that day was purely voluntary, and thousands took the opportunity to show their desire “for change”.

My point is that these days such things would be ignored.
They were ignored then.

It’s surely not a protest against what’s on the pitch though? All this hurting the team stuff is up to the team isn’t it. 40k turned up to support them against bottom of the league and that apparently hurt them anarl.

It’s all about the boardroom & how Madrox are still about lurking in the shadows after completely ruining this football club to the point where people think where we are at now is even remotely acceptable. It’s a complete disgrace.

So, in essence, you want people to protest at a game just in case two minority shareholders have any control and the players would know it's nothing to do with them.

Sorry mate, I'm out.

What exactly are people protesting?

You wanted LJ sacked. The club sacked him, despite it being a very tricky time with the window about to close.

They've taken their time to appoint the successor, rather than rushing into anything. Neil seems like the best possible appointment we could be making.

Keano would have been an emotional/reactive appointment.

So you're organising a protest because they didn't appoint a new manager as quickly as you would like? Pathetic.

Do you think this will help the club in any way?

In a nutshell

Think some like to copy the deluded , full of self importance gravy stinking , knuckle dragging terrorist sympathisers up the road.

My problem isn't with the point of view, it is with the way it is expressed.

When posts stink of childish bratty entitlement, I'll call people out on it.

I DEMAND THIS
THE OWNERS MUST DO THIS
THIS ISN'T ACCEPTABLE
EVERYONE WITH HALF A BRAIN CAN SEE THIS

This isn't the language of constructive discourse, it's the language of spoilt children.
Or people ultimately frustrated beyond the point of calmness. It happens when you feel passionately about something. We are all different and react in different ways depending on how invested we are. Try to understand that, or if you can’t then at least take it into account.

Wouldnt be anything to do with Neil mind. Or even KLD.

True, but the timing would create unrest, they would feel targeted by association- even if there was a one month amnesty before any protest for example it would give Neil a smoother start. That would also make it seem more thought through and not kneejerk (not that I'm saying it is).

The only way to do this is to voice it at every match.
Let KLD know how much of a cock Spunkyman is.
Not a chance. It won't be mentioned at any match. For me the biggest crime we have witnessed in recent years was the flogging off of a boatload of talent for buttons by Donald. There wasn't any dissension at all. How many times have we heard about people giving up and it being the last straw. The fact is that most of us love the club and can see that KLD wants to do things the right way i.e. building solid foundations with a DOF structure. Yes, there has been some mistakes in the last two weeks but the outrage is way over the top. There have been countless posts on here in the past about us emulating Southampton. Well that is what we are attempting to do and some want us to chuck it after just over 12 months - now that would be a typical SAFC thing to do.

Of course hey there's a group running our club who are clueless
Whatever the rights and wrongs of it, Methven needs to disappear. It seems he is still heavily involved in spite of him “stepping down” now given he is such a divisive figure I feel it would be better for all concerned and certainly from a supporters point of view if he was a little less visible. But given his apparent love of the limelight and staggering lack of self awareness I can’t see that happening. Which is a pity because he is a massive distraction.
