Organised Protest

Happy to sit tight "if" the rumours of new board members and investment comes to fruition. On the flip side though there absolutely has to come a point where this share issue needs to come out. NDA's can be removed with all party consent. It will no doubt show that Maddox still have a say, protecting their current and future investment. At the same time, there MUST be totally clarity on where the missing 20 million sits and how it is going to be resolved.

My view is we will fuck up in the playoffs again and this will leave the door open for a massive revolt against OUR club and it will be messy

I don't care how 'Mag-esque' it is, I don't care how many sarcy comments people make, I'll just hit 'ignore' on them, I don't care how many people do a hilarious misspelling of boycott, and I don't care how many people claim that people who protest aren't 'true supporters'.

The club we love, and have spent our lives loving, has been taken over by leeches. Dishonest, incompetent chancers who have taken money out of the club, employed their mates and other assorted idiots, criticised the fans, put nothing back into the club, and delivered the four worst teams in our 143 year history. When the three original chancers were found out, they just went out, found another one, hid behind him, and pretended they sold the club - when all they had done was add another chancer to the mix.

They have taken the piss out of our loyalty, knowing that our fatal flaw is that, EVERY season since we have been in League One (apart from the season behind closed doors), we have had higher attendances than any other club has ever managed at this level. 38395 of us were there last Saturday. That's incredible. It should also be embarrassing for the owners.

The shambles of the managerial situation, and the non appointment of Roy Keane is a watershed moment. It was (rightly or naively) the last light at the end of the tunnel. It has just been switched off.

Already there are lots of individuals coming to the conclusion they have had enough. I completely understand it, and right now I feel that way myself. It will also change nothing.

The club we love will never progress until these people are gone. Supporters of clubs in far, far healthier positions than us have organised protests on various issues, and they have often worked.

It is way past time that we arranged a protest. I don't claim to know what that looks like, or how it would work. But this is now an existential crisis for the club, and it is way past time that as supporters, we fought back against it.

Can’t be arsed to read, fuck off

Glue yourselves to your seats next home game. Just like what those environmental protesters were doing on the roads. It would get attention

I have to say I don't think when they sacked Johnson they were expecting Keane to throw his hat in. A pure guess but rumours that it was Dave Jones talking to him that found out the possible interest. There is a possibility that we've been mucked about by Keane. What Speakman/KLD have shown is naivety. Lets hope they learn from it.
My thoughts too… Keane was a curve ball which they couldn’t ignore due to his status with the fans.

They also most likely had their head turned at the potential influx of revenue from such a high profile signing. But then shat their pants at Keanes demands and/or realized he just doesn’t fit.

Tough position to be in really, but IMO they should have stuck to their plan and brought in someone who fits into the structure / “philosophy”.

Everything is easy with hindsight

Everyone take a crisp packet to throw on the pitch, which will be accompanied by a massive surfer flag in the Roken End, with Methven and Donald's head on it saying #takeouttherubbish

You keep mentioning this new investor, probably about 6 month ago and nobody has heard anything about this. Club has been self-funded for a while, parachute payments etc was the clubs money
Tbf to Bob prehab also said their is a new investor that has already came in . It just hasn't been made public yet

It’s time for this to happen

The red and white Army fan group has been fed the party lines for the last couple of seasons. We as a fan base have been extremely acceptant of the changing ownership models over the last 5 seasons. It’s time for things to change for me
Exactly, we've had enough of these changes!

It's time for a change!

Why would we protest? Maybe against the forum and fans as we were the ones to protest to get LJ out. Keane wanted bucket loads of money and had demands you can’t do at league 1 level. Will the fans in year 5 at league 1 realise that’s our level and budget? The comments on here are like we have a right to be higher?! We were a shambles for years in the premier league somehow surviving and that was despite huge overspends on players and worse still poor managers. We’re now at our level sadly…
It's an absolute disgrace that a club of our size if facing a 5th season in league 1. Its absolutely shite that some are willing to accept it. And if you're being serious asking what people would be protesting about with what has happened since we came down to league 1 at ownership level then there is absolutely no hope.

Is that true? If so, Rawa should be demanding this is removed now.

And completely agree re. missing money.

Firstly, the OP won't be leading a protest, it's just words on a chat forum.

Secondly, anything that isn't total support for the team would hurt the supporters, not whoever the target is supposed to be.

A protest, with the club possibly in 2nd place, would make the supporters look like lovesick puppies pining for Big Dog Keane.

They can't and they won't.

They're a bunch of supporters, not HMRC.
At least some people seemed willing to start demanding transparency and truth, but that of course might get in the way of your pint. You enjoy getting behind Neil and pretending everything is fixed.

Heroes, every one of them.

I'm fairly certain you don't even go to games, and you come up with this in response to someone who has had enough at the state of our club, and is willing to get off their arse and do something because they want better for the club they love. Absolute pathetic man.
100% agree the post you replied to was pathetic.

But is the OP ‘willing to get off his arse?’ Or is he only willing to post words on a forum. Still so much derision towards those who don’t want to protest (some of it deserved for their derision towards those who do want to protest). 26 pages and not a single idea put forward yet. Forget those who don’t want to protest, that is their prerogative. Do something. Organise something.
