Its just about applying pressure and letting the world know how we feel. Of course we cant force a sale two parties need to come together to achieve that. But we need to show some passion and get some awareness outside of tbis tight geographical area of the plight of the club. Show people that there is still life in the fanbase. You never know that might catch some attention.
100% this for me.

I'm glad of the amount of signatures on the petition and i've signed it myself but what outcome are people expecting to get from it? It won't quicken up any sale of the Club, Short won't invest in transfers, so i'm baffled to what fans are expecting to achieve.

So what was your reason for signing it .... what outcome are you expecting to get from it?

This may not do anything to influence Short, what it will do is show potential buyers that there is a large, committed fan base who want to support their club.
That's no mean achievement.

The fact that more than 25,000 still turn up regularly already shows we have a committed fan base.
Signing an online petition means nothing.

Of course, it is possible to do both.
It's a conundrum. If you believe that signing the petition will do nothing, and your time isn't so precious that you can't afford to do it, why not just sign it? It may do nothing to help but a 0.0001 chance of it helping is better than doing nothing.
A 25000 crowd married to 20000+ names on the petition wouold be pretty impressive.
