Aye. Why I went for Hutch as he could play in mid as well as attacking. Hutch more or less played that role when he was here and did a great job. Still got shot of him too early imo

I was 13, probably too young to really take in and appreciate him.
 
Ignoring the obvious Phillips/Quinn etc. My initial thought was Cattermole/Cana/M'Vila to allow the young lads to play further up, but after several minutes pondering I think maybe Pickford (nothing against Patterson).

Reason being is his distribution - teams wouldn't be able to line their back 4 up on the half way line for fear of that flat kick over their heads to Clarke/Roberts, this would allow us to play the way we seem to be set up - allowing Neil/Ekwah the time to pick a progressive pass if we play out from the back.
