One loss...

Of course it's not, it's a reflection on life in general, some people look on the bright side, some people expect the worst, and some people just like to let off steam.

It's the same but opposite if we win, if you know what I mean. Some folk think we are going to sweep all before us, others keep their feet on the ground, and some still expect the worst

I don't think we are too bad on here compared to what I've seen / heard from others fans.

Before the advent of the internet the exact same conversations would be happening in pubs with the same set of traits present in each group, you just weren't privvy to all of those conversations in those days like you are now.
Or in the Football Echo letters page

The thing is though, I think most people knew it was coming with performances dropping for a while. Our results have been amazing all things considered.

Hopefully it brings the team down to earth in a good way and spurs them on for the rest of the season.

Can't argue that we've been winning without playing well in a lot of games recently

...in the last God knows how many games and this board is reeking of piss within 30 mins of FT.

It’s never going to go away is it?
Oh shut up man FFS. We are sleep walking backwards. He f***ing about with formations and team selection and f***ing us over!

One loss too many if we want top 2
Gloss it how you want - Hull & Peterborough are marching on

Missed our chances when we had been the more proactive team in the opening stages of the game, their keeper has pulled off two worldies to keep it level then we get suckerpunched from a corner when its a three straight errors from our lads. it just felt like one of those days, haway, Gilbey have never in a million years meant the touch/shot that ends up with him in acres of space for the second. I know we got fortunate a bit earlier with Stockley missing the sitter header mind, but we've had the territory and opportunities to win the game.

We huffed and puffed after the changes but ran out of time. Need to get back to getting the first goal, a cacky habit we're getting into and it costs you points. Every team in the top 6 will have a day like today, I just fear that given the points already squandered earlier in the campaign we just can't afford them.

Still, we need the reaction at Wigan. Win that and send out a message that we're still in this, takes us within two points and from there I'm sure there'll still be many twists and turns. Given how many Hull and Pbro have already lost, they'll come unstuck a few times yet.

Keep the f***ing faith.

We are completely out of it. Hull and Pboro are going about business simply and easily, whilst we look shite against Bristol Rovers etc.

We have the best squad in the league and yet we struggle against everyone. Pboro are dispatching teams 7-0 & 3-0, whilst we look like we’re playing against 15 men every week.

We’re play off bound, and the form of the teams in the playoff positions now, we won’t go up that way. League 1 next season.

No it won’t, we’ll still be 3rd, they’ll still be 2nd. We’re in dreamland thinking we can catch either of the top 2. We aren’t very good.
Gus Poyet doesn’t like you.

Hull and the Posh have still lost a lot more games than us and both are bound to lose at least one more before the end of the season.
