Without getting too carried away we are just a little short of a team who can dominate a game. We are rarely totally convincing when we win and instead grind out results. That's no bad thing but unfortunately it looks like we will fall short of automatic promotion. Never give up of course as still a few twists and turns to go I'd imagine bit I expect we are looking at playoff's. Just hope we hit some decent form going into them.

Of course it's not, it's a reflection on life in general, some people look on the bright side, some people expect the worst, and some people just like to let off steam.

It's the same but opposite if we win, if you know what I mean. Some folk think we are going to sweep all before us, others keep their feet on the ground, and some still expect the worst :lol:

I don't think we are too bad on here compared to what I've seen / heard from others fans.

Before the advent of the internet the exact same conversations would be happening in pubs with the same set of traits present in each group, you just weren't privvy to all of those conversations in those days like you are now.

Third season of third tier football with potentially another on the way, but it's the fans moaning that's the problem.

We only lost one of them though. I said the same before the Peterborough game, we haven't been convincing. To draw against Peterborough was not failing to deliver and, at that time, Lincoln wasn't a bad result either.

You can't seriously call that 15 game run as poor😁. We won a cup and climbed into the promotion race with very good form. We can only be unbeaten in this league and cup because it's the only one we play in😁.
Sorry, I nearly spilled my beer laughing. I will go back to watching the game I think and leave the "end of the world is nigh" people to it😁

I said it's nowt to crow about, and the number of draws is poor.
 
When the other two don't look like losing, we need to keep winning. I've always said I'd prefer points to games in hand.

I'm still pleased we have given ourselves a chance of automatic to be honest. It's a tremendous run we have been on. We are not the best team in this league though.
 
It has been coming for a while. Don’t think we’ve played particularly well since the Portsmouth game.

Hopefully this kicks us up the arse and we go on a run of wins from here.

I can understand people being pissed off, we probably all are. But if we win Tuesday, we’re 2 points off 2nd with 18 more points to play for, so I’m not throwing the towel in yet.

We’ve lost one in fourteen. We’re nowt special but can still beat anyone in this league and technically still in our hands. Probably won’t, but who knows?
 
Been coming for a while as we’ve been shit recently, however it does seem every week we have a tough game and Peterborough/hull play some dog and duck fc team. Do they have any hard games coming up?

Some people definitely over react after defeats (very much guilty of that myself), and some people seem to like to ignore genuine concerns people have about the way a team is playing.
 
The fact is we still have at least 7 games left to play. There's going to be plenty more twists and turns before this season is done. We may end up in the playoffs we may still get automatic promotion who knows? The fact is we'd have given our right arm to be in the position we are now at the turn of the year
