Because we need to be getting points in games like this. We will be getting precious few when the tough games start. December in particular looks horrific.

It was a shocking performance.
 

by far the better team first half without creating much at all. Naive in the extreme second half and got what we deserved. Fair play to Burnley did what they had to but any semblance of a decent performance and we are taking points today as they were awful. Very frustrating

To be fair at 150m we are still likely the cheapest assembled squad in the PL. It's a brand new team against a well organised side playing at home in our 2nd PL game for 8 years.

There's nothing wrong with saying it how it is and it ended up being very poor 2nd half after being the better side first. but at least do it with a bit of realisation of the situation- two games in with a new side and a key player going off early on with us missing a couple of good chances.

Instead though we're treat to comments like 'disgrace' and questioning most the playing staff and management.
 
The team, recruitment etc isn’t a disgrace or pathetic. That was a really really poor performance though. Slow, created next to fuck all and fluffed the chances we did create.

Striker is a real issue for me. Mayenda just wasn’t in the game save for the sitter he missed. CB too, Seelt is a bomb scare.

I think Burnley is a very difficult place to go to, there defensive record last year was the best in Europe if I recall correctly, breaking records all over the place. We struggled today after we went behind, and lacked creativity. It wasnt pathetic. Theres work to be done.

Because it wasn’t ’pathetic’. It was a typical loss to Burnley who can be fking awful to play against. They were defending really well and we couldn’t get through. It happens. We’ll hopefully learn from it.

To be more positive, that £159m team still needs to gel and this was always a massive banana skin of a game.

30 clean sheets.
Didn't concede more than 1 goal.

They are tough to beat.
Whether that will continue in the PL remains to be seen 🤷‍♂️
But they continue to be unbeaten at home 🤷‍♂️
Burnley drive me nuts but there it is 🤷‍♂️
