Omelettes

Is part of the point of omelettes is that you can put anything in?

Including worms if you are in a bad situation, yet somehow still have eggs.

So just whisked up egg, cheese and whatever else I fancy in it ?
Yes.

Don’t beat the eggs too much, just enough to even out the colour. Blistering hot pan. Knob of butter in until melted. Eggs in and pull the egg back from the side of the pan a bit to allow the liquid egg to drain out onto the hot pan. Heat down to the lowest point now. If your on electric job use two rings: one hot and one cool.

Stick your filling in and flip one third of the egg over the filling. Flip the other third over and then cook until done to your liking. Flop it out onto a plate and put yourself outside of it.

Got this from watching Delia’s earliest series on iplayer a while back. Have never looked back, omelette wise, since.

Thank you very much xx

Had some coriander left over from making a Thai curry, put it in with the cheese when making an omelette
the next day 👍 as stated by other members, has to be grilled before serving.
Ps. No good if you don't like coriander
