Interesting one him. I've just had a look, he cost them £7m last summer at just 18 years old. The youngest ever Frenchman to play in the Champions League (presumably beaten by Camavinga this year) as well. 8d be shocked if we can bring someone like that in, even if it is on loan.

If he’s not playing then maybe a loan is an option. No chance of signing him mind

Sanderson was selected and had to be withdrawn at the last minute as he was cup tied.

The club Secretary (an Eastleigh man?) hasn’t helped the new manager out at all there. It’s properly shoddy for a professional club to make such an error

Probably couldn't be arsed as he knows he's away.

Tin hat maybe with this last one, but I think Scowen is going to thrive under Johnson.......
Pleased you said that.....reading this board I thought I was out on my own thinking he'd been half decent in the last two games.

I missed that! Thought he must have had a last minute injury. That’s embarrassing that mind. Good job we bought another proper professional from Eastleigh isn’t it

It doesn’t reflect well on anyone at the club. It’s screams unorganised, unprofessional and chaotic. Well run clubs with proper people in the job never make those mistakes. Little things like that do paint a picture

That’s OK different opinions are allowed. I recognise he hasn’t shown much but I just think he has the game to do well. Time will tell
I think his energy in midfield is essential. Thought he was energetic but lacked quality first half and improved second. Hopefully more to come from him under Johnson.

My problem with Scowen is more that there's three of them wandering round in midfield, passing the ball backwards / sideways. If we're going to have three CMs, at least one (ideally two) need to be attacking, rather than holding midfielders. Scowen has done OK in the past couple of weeks (albeit against bottom of L1 and mid-table L2).

I read these posts, 4-3-3, 5-4-1 etc, etc, etc. These players are not up to maths, I quote one of the most successful managers ever, who took a big club languishing in the old Second Division, to the very top and that is where they are today. He said football is a simple game the the secret is to pass the ball to someone wearing the same shirt. If you get a sniff on goal shoot, thevtrick is to score more goals than the opposition. Give the players a simple plan, change it if you have to but keep it simple. Our directors said after interviewing him, that he was not enough of a gentleman to manage Sunderland, he was no tory either but he proved himself. He came here a couple of years later when we were favourites to go up. His team put four past us at home and murdered us, another three away,
