Thanks. It'd be good if there's more than one solid bid. They'll have to negotiate with KLD once they're through the EFL stuff, that can't be far away now.
That's what to look for over the next few weeks, and it's simplified if there's only one bid as they basically are the preferred bidder and jump straight to how they will fit into the current agreement, or change it to suit them if KLD likes the idea of their involvement.

- If more than one, Discussions between bidders and KLD to find best fit with his current plan.
- Preferred bidder selected by KLD (SD and CM will actually confirm the preferred bid and doubtless announce 'their' progress to the Athletic) and other bids put to one side.
- Due diligence and legal paperwork between bidder and KLD to join the current Shareholder agreement (approx. 3-4 weeks I think for a deal like this as a minority shareholder, with existing agreements they have to re-write rather than create from scratch)
- Completion.
My gut instinct is something will happen, but if not, KLD won't buy their shares. It's either sell up or pay your way, as that suits him better than paying 80% of our funding in future.
And then provide us with one. No such thing as an ITK but just posters passing on info, but your trying your best to be one

The only thing I don’t get is the missed irony that seems to drip from every passive aggressive post about this place.Agreed. One of the best things about this place is the piss taking.
You just have to look at how @chunkyshitehawk53 took his medicine this week or the @Hongkongphooey Kane thread to see this place at its best. For some reason the takeover / ownership story fabricators don't seem to get it, and get way too aggressive when pulled up on their inconsistencies / lies. Yet they keep making stuff up.

It's a checklist of things that some people may find helpful as this plays out over the next few weeks, I find it helps me gauge what step we're at and what the realistic timeline could be. If you don't like it, fine.
I haven't said I know anything, except first hand knowledge of the legal process of running a company, buying shares and selling them in a LTD with a similar ownership dynamic. I haven't looked at a single SAFC related thing since the start of the week for said-nappy related reasons, so it was a genuine question in a window of 1hr.
They'd still be a minority shareholder at 39% as KLD owns the most shares and they don't hold majority control (51%). Technically, even KLD is still a minority shareholder, its the agreement he has with his other shareholders that makes him the de factor owner.
On the EFL, they don't get to vet the bid (my poor wording), they only play the role of vetting whether someone is technically able to meet their requirements to be a fit and proper shareholder. It's more like an application for a bank account than any rigorous test. They wouldn't stop anyone from applying for it or wasting their time, I believe there is even a small fee to cover their costs. In theory, it may even make a bidder more attractive as it would cut down the time needed. I'm sure there was an example of someone a few years back who got the test done ahead of bidding for someone (maybe Wigan) at the same time as negotiating to buy.

Just to repeat the news I got today...suggested SD/CM have sold or in the process of selling their shares.
1. CM/SD sold or selling their shares.
2. Owners (Plural) with capital to spend to compete and get us out of the Championship ASAP.
3. No mention of KLD or Satori or what will happen.
4. Big plans for the future.
5. Broadhead decision with the player.

It seems SD and CM have completed their objective..and will be moving on. Current/New Owners to progress the club to next level. FTM
KLD and other shareholders want to invest and get us to the promised land. They have big plans for us. We need to trust KLD.
I don't know who the new people are but it does now seem CM and SD time at the club is over subject to signed contracts.

I know dozens of true supporters on here and hundreds in real life. I'd have to be insane to lie about myself, my personal life and what I post on here. I was at the Argyle pub, before Wembley, with at least 50 people from the boards.
I'd be absolutely ridiculed, by them, if I'd posted lies and exaggerations. Many have visited the places I've looked after, at least two will be at Cumloden this year. That's why they vouch for me, no other reason.
What people should appreciate is that, if you post anything on here that's ITK/gossip or whatever, you're liable to have endless insults, aggressive pms and slurs against you. Prehab is regularly acused of being an alcoholic, that's poor whatever you think of his posts. Is it any surprise that there's a reaction in kind yet people will claim you're lashing out for no good reason.
The people who just ignore the thread topic and relentlessly attack other posters know what they're doing, it's just a game to them.
I've posted quite a lot, on this thread, that's been appreciated and debated by some people. Yet there's a clique who ignore the majority of posts and pick up on anything they think they can attack you with.
I'd say my contribution to this thread is pretty decent tbh. Yes my phone did light up the other night but, as I said at the time, that may well have been mass hysteria. It's not unusual, in a large group of friends/contacts for a spark of gossip to set off a wildfire that quickly spreads.
When one or more of those people have actually provided good info, in the past, it's like pouring petrol on it ... despite it being nearly two quid a gallon

It's tempting to hope Donald plays up to type and drops his mate Methven in it. Donald doesn't need him and can sell his own shares independently. Methven would be left, as far as I know, with nothing but an obligation to provide funds.
In some ways I'd rather see that happen than him running off with his pieces of silver.

I once watched about 25 minutes of a Stewart lee comedy video on youtube which turned out to be 3 or 4 loops of the same 6minute sketch on repeat. In its own way it was good viewing and a bit funny. However your triple post repeat doesnt have the same affect. Sorry m8
