We need to finish top 7 to get into the Champions Trophy. Which I was unaware of till today.
So a silver lining if we turn up for the remaining games.
But yes very frustrating. We just completely gave up against Sri Lanka.
Netherlands have won both their games after losing lots of early wickets and yet posted scores that we're probably not enough. Yet low and behold scoreboard pressure is a thing and they won.
Why we didn't just try and bat at 4 an over for the remainder of that game is beyond me. A score of 240 might have been enough we'll never know.
