I don't think they have been allowed to travel, like another poster said, I don't think their journo's haven't been either. Not many have been allowed to travel from here, especially if you have been to Pakistan before. The lad I know hasn't been for over 20 years and his visa was refused. This was a canny while back though so I don't know if they have loosened the entry requirements.
I'm surprised Athers hasn't been grilled. He went to interview Imran Khan in Lahore a couple of years back.
It's definitely a form of apartheid, but as long as the bcci money keeps flowing then nowt gets said unfortunately.

What a signing De Leede is by Campbell mind.
He's some talent and to have snuck him in as non overseas even better.
Hopefully get to see him perform better in the T20 next season.

Indian cricket fans only want to watch India. Tomorrow they play Australia. For that game they would probably have been able to fill that three times over.

I genuinely think they don't give a toss about the world cup anymore. India historically haven't done amazing in the ODI world cup (1 or 2 wins?), so as glory hunters, the fans haven't taken to any competitions that they don't win on a regular basis. Imo.
Out of the Indian lads I know, only 1 talks about cricket all the time, regardless of who's playing or what the results been like. You know like most cricket fans. However, the rest I only hear pipe up when India are playing or winning something. There's definitely a 'mag' like mentality to quite a few of them.
Sri Lankans on the other hand. Love their cricket, knowledgeable and respectful of all the teams.
I know these are huge grounds they're playing at so the attendances might be skewed, so why play them there in the 1st place? Wouldn't have it been a better spectacle playing in the smaller more provencial grounds, packed to the rafters? Instead of this soulless garb.
Other than Athers and Nas saying something during our match, no one else has even mentioned it.
