Been bigged up on the BBC for a couple of weeks tbf. Sky too but they have a vested interest.
 
Doesn't seem to be an opening ceremony. Or is that not a thing now? Come to think of it I can't remember if there was one here in 2019. I remember the one in 1999 where Tony Blair opened it and it was a shambles.
 
Blew all the budget on the IPL opening ceremony :lol:

There was rumours to something simular with with Bollywood stars and fireworks, but they did a Captains Day yesterday instead

Tendulkar will walk out with the trophy and that's it apparently

If there was an opening ceremony I wouldn't have watched it anyway tbh. Would probably have been on mid afternoon here.
