Obvious money laundering schemes

Had to laugh at this story the other day when the bloke had apparently turned his life around by running three legitimate businesses.

Anything where your customers aren't logged .
There seems to be lots of cleaning business popping up.
Sunbed shops
Scrap men
Restaurants and bars owned by a certain type of people
People who do bonus balls on anything aswell as stuff like avon

Don't condone it but also don't blame them, once you get past £50k in a real job you get taxed ridiculous amounts

There’s a barbershop near me that rarely has anyone in, just a lad playing on his phone.
Bet the till shows 60 customers a day at £15 each !

Car washes have got to be the easiest..No great outlay once you have your premises. If you doing 100 cars a day as long as your not taking the piss you can easily add another number on to that total and unless you have the resources to put surveillance on it can't see how you'd get caught
I know how the plan works but struggle to see how any of the businesses quoted can show turnover to match the cash they make in illegal stuff . Handy for anit tax evasion but not washing large figures of cash .
