I thought the first half we played ok. Sat back second half and hoped for a counter attack goal but we have not got the players for that. The league is too tight to sit back, any team can beat the next maybe apart from Sheff Utd who look very good. We do not seem to go for it or maybe have the players to do that. The defence is horrendous and do not pick the players in midfield to support them. All in all a f***ing mess. As for Sunderland looked good going forward through Roberts, don’t think will make top 2 but think could make playoffs.
serious question, would Sunderland sell out completely in premier league if go up or have they lost a few young fans to the Saudi team? Not taking the piss there but I have wondered this.
Sunderland rarely soldout in the Premier league except when playing the mags. Even against Chelsea Man Utd and the big teams it often didn't sellout. Football has changed now too, its very expensive to go to games these days. The stadium is too big. Would still average over 40,000 in the prem though.
To answer your last question, there are more fans now than there used to be from Sunderland areas that now follow the mags. That's what happens when a team becomes moderately successful and consistently wins games of football.
