Honeyman covered every single blade of grass on Friday. If you didn't see that you weren't watching.

For me the central midfielders should be Leadbitter, Honeyman and 09, with McGeady, Maguire and Grigg ahead of them. That is a two goal a game team easily. It has movement, energy and an eye for a goal.

Flanagan needs to come back in at the back. I think we are suffering having to try to integrate Dunne at the moment. But in the end he may be more reliable than Baldwin I suppose.

He did run around a lot. Never tackled for 80 mins, rarely showed to receive the ball, created nothing of note but scored one.

I don't think he contributed much.

Blotted his immaculate copy-book on Friday when he got himself in to an off-side position when what would have been our winner went in. I trust that our Captain had him flicked with wet towels in the shower room after the game to remind him to surepress his eagerness to score when we have a perfectly adequate striker on the pitch.

Still you live and learn.
