Nuno facing the sack at Forest ?

I like him and Forest but would welcome this. Having a mental chairman always goes and makes things unstable at the club so there's a potential 6 points boost.
We specialise in losing to teams in shit circumstances, I'd have more confidence facing an in-form and stable Nottingham.

So annoyed as I predicted with my lot he’d win the sack race before a ball was kicked and didn’t twig it was 12/1 😭 Been coming since Mr Marinakis came on to the pitch (despite not having a controlling interest in the club after placing shares in a blind trust) to remonstrate with him then putting that bullshit statement out about Awomyi and the “Forest Family”
After what he said today , I would say his position now is untenable , especially with that hothead Marinakis

Big Ange being linked, surely they'd not be that insane?
He had one bad season at a club renowned for having a hair trigger..the same club sacked Nuno before clocks went back.
Ange has an impeccable track record

Quite a character:

"
Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis' controversies include a five-match stadium ban for spitting at officials, a £750,000 fine for a post attacking VAR, and being involved in a separate libel case concerning alleged match-fixing and drug trafficking in Greece. He was also seen arguing with manager on the pitch after a 2025 match, which he and Forest downplayed as "fake news" and attributed to frustration over an injury.

Disciplinary Actions in England
  • Spitting at Officials:
In October 2024, Marinakis received a five-match stadium ban for improper conduct after spitting on the floor in the direction of match officials following a loss to Fulham.

  • VAR Attack:
In the same season, Nottingham Forest was fined £750,000 for a social media post made by Marinakis attacking the integrity of a match official (VAR Stuart Attwell).

  • Pitch Confrontation with Manager:
In May 2025, Marinakis was seen on the pitch speaking animatedly to manager Nuno Espirito Santo. The club called the incident "fake news," stating it was a shared frustration about an injured player ( ) continuing to play after an injury, not a confrontation.
Legal & Allegations in Greece
  • Libel Case:
In January 2025, Marinakis was given permission to proceed with a £2.1 million libel claim in England against an individual regarding allegations of match-fixing and a drug trafficking case in Greece.

  • Match-Fixing Allegations:
He has been accused of match-fixing and involvement in a high-profile drug trafficking case in Greece, which he denies.
Uefa & Ownership

  • Blind Trust: To comply with UEFA rules, which prevent individuals from controlling two clubs in the same competition, Marinakis placed his Olympiakos shares in a blind trust"
Total heed the baal

In all fairness I dont think it was ever going to last.

Marinakis is a complete imbecile and hothead with a tonne of money and Nuno is a hotheaded genius who says how he feels almost in the same way Mourinho did.

It was never going to last and I'm surprised they went this long if I'm honest.

We all know how Marinakis and Forest ends and the fans have backed Marinakis unequivocally to the point they can’t really cry about it.
Especially now they're palling up with the mags in the "why can't our scumbag owners buy us into the elite" club.
