Nuno facing the sack at Forest ?

I’ve been intrigued reading this as I wasn’t aware Forest’s ownership was quirky to say the least and came across this clip of Gibbs-White talking about his new contract. I felt genuinely so uncomfortable for him throughout the interview. The lads body language is all over

Have to be bonkers..but then again the forest owner doesn’t seem the sort to take a backward step or face criticism
If nuno did one I’d have grave doubts they could stay up
Has got them playing quality football and doing it on a shoestring after splurgesof 3 years ago
Define shoestring in your world please?

Spent about £170m this summet

Possibly, but think best he stays there as someone like a West Ham or Brentford could make a move for Nuno if he does get the boot and then we could be in trouble as don't think Forest will be anywhere near a relegation fight this year.
Managers of both those you cite only appointed in past few months..certainly Andrew in July and Potter last Jan. Not sure if WHU could afford to sack Potter and employ Nuno anyhow.
Anyway Nuno will likely go to a bigger club here or abroad

Consider that Gibbs-White interview where he says thank you Mr Marinakis about 15 times with the guy stood there looking at him - you can tell he’s an absolute nutcase of a person and has created a horrible atmosphere. Good for us then 😆 - let’s watch it implode.

Net spending of under 25m…121m on buys, 96m on sales ( google is your friend)
So yes in my world they have been very parsimonious

Very good manager but owner comes across as ignorant. For an owner the way he ran on the pitch and practically assaulted the manager was way out of order.

It can all fall apart very quickly, you get the feeling it’s boom or bust with this fella. If they end up going down I can see him losing interest and the club being in some serious trouble. He’s a fruit loop and I’d be gutted if he owned us as you can see what’s going to happen down the road.
