Nuno facing the sack at Forest ?

seems nuts given how and where hes got them

but never let a loony chairman/owner get in the way of self destruction

west ham already drwing up his contract so they can pay off the guy they only got in 20 games ago

The owner is not that crazy mind

He stuck with cooper for ages even though he probs should have got rid

hes not trigger happyv
Cooper done a outstanding job as well mind took over when they were bottom of the championship.

And keeping them up in that first season was awesome, we all know how difficult that is, Forest if went back down that first season could have been totally different to where they are now.

That said I agree he kept faith with him longer than expected

Owners more than just a bit mad. He's a gangster and has killed/ ordered hits on a fair few people, involved with big drug trafficking offences, people trafficking and government corruption. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if it all blew up in his face (possibly even literally).

There's clearly a lot of tension there.

Personally think Nuno should have walked the day the owner went at him on the field, but easy for me to say I suppose.

Didn’t they sign like 23 players or something mad. I know we’ve signed a lot but it’s obvious we have a plan. To say their approach was scattergun would be underselling it. Kept them up like but they’ve improved a lot with transfer since. That first one up though was wild. Didn’t they sign that Brazilian goalkeeper on mad wages?.

Not sure I’d be saying that on a public forum mind

Living up to the old username there.

So let’s get this straight both Forest and Sunderland both went up in play offs with both having squads that needed completing changing as lacking quality.

Forest needed to buy loads of players and did yet they scattergun?

Sunderland in more or less exactly the same position bought loads of players but they have a plan?

That’s exactly what I’m saying, you can see a plan with ours. Largely young with resale value and a lot of them known to either Reggie or the new director fella. Forests felt scattergun in that some didn’t even get game time and majority were ageing players. A bit like what we were doing under moyes. It almost felt like who can we get to sign.

He came out the other day saying they were miles away from where they wanted to be in terms of preparation for the new season and transfers. Said it repeatedly and quite explicitly. I thought it was quite a big statement for any manager to make but particularly given who their owner is, he must have known it wouldn’t go down well
To be fair he was right and didn't they go out and sign 4 players in a day or 2? Not sure if they got them all done eventually.
