Whilst I do understand you were probably desperate for us to be relegated the above is bollocks. There was only ever pressure because we were losing. Fulham had a mini revival. Lasted about 3 weeks and WBA got worse with the arrival of Sam ‘never been relegated’ Allardyce. Aside from media hype I am not sure there was ever that much pressure on us. Reading some of the posts on here you could be led to believe if was 3 from 4 and Brighton, Burnley, Southampton & Palace were already safe.

What about the others we finished above?
The 3 relegated teams were poor but we finished above more than them. 12th is a good finish yet there seems to be a lot only saying so through gritted teeth.

Toure was a youngster at Young Boys and plays/played for Swiss youth teams. He appears to have been chronically mishandled by our shite youth setup.

FFS man there is absolutely nothing “local” about Newcastle and Leeds …nor is there any history that could support any “rivalry”……it like saying that Huddersfield are our ”local” rivals if we were both in L1
