A shit manager with an absolutely identical record to Rafa Benitez at this level for Nufc and having to do so after.
1. Having been appointed 3 weeks before his first season
2. Having Perez sold and Rondon not signed.
3. Joelinton signed the day after he came through the door
4. A COVID outbreak affecting a number of players and resulting in training facilities shut down
5. Mass injuries to key players

mental you lot
Change his name to Brucio, bit of fake tan and they'd love him.

I mean the biggest difference is the players at hand.

The first was achieved with Dwight Gayle Joselu as strikers. That squad in general had very little Premier League quality. It improved in year two, but it lacked depth. If Rondon had been injured we'd have really struggled because that team lacked goals.

Now we have quality and depth. Saint-Maximin, Almiron, Fraser are a good trio of creative attackers. Wilson is clearly the star man but we have Joelinton, Gayle, and to a much lesser extent Carroll. I've not even mentioned Willock. Credit to Steve/recruitment team, he's been an inspired signing.
Ah so you're moving the goalposts now?

who signed Gayle and Joselu?
it was Benitez wasnt it?

Fat Wafa had Rondon, Perez and Gayle.
Pie man has Wilson, St Max and Gayle.

Not much in it if you ask me, also not much in it in terms of league placings or points, in fact there's not much in it between the two managers.

Strange how one is heralded as world class and a miracle worker and one is a fat useless spunktrumpet.🤷‍♂️
It's because he hasn't won things at other Clubs. He could win the f***ing lot and he still wouldn't be good enough for the deluded Superpower of European football that is Newcastle United

I do rate Wilson and ASM. It wasn't a co-incidence your shit form occurred while they were out.
Willock good loan.
Fraser, not for me
Gayle, out his depth in PL
Joelinton???????

I mean he also Fraser and Almiron...

And it's really not. I get that you guys hate Benitez, but he's clearly a world class manager and has the trophy cabinet to prove it. It's very telling that there aren't many former clubs (Chelsea and Real Madrid perhaps) where he's disliked.

If nothing else, he at least speaks to supporters like they matter. He never took swipes at his critics among the support, and always pitched us as improving in the long-term. You've had Bruce at your place, you know what he's like.

I see you still haven't responded to my question about your owner having ties to the middle-east. ;)

Was

Even still, wouldn't you rather have a manager who WAS World Class over one that never was?

Bruce has called us hysterical, said critics were keyboard warriors and basically slated 'his people'. The football is shite, and his patter is no better. I don't know why you'd think we'd tolerate it.

Bruce is a merry-go-round failure but still has yiu finishing higher than the messiah

Firstly Rafa also had Almiron he f***ing signed him.

Secondly you're back to waffling on about what he did at other clubs, and yes we know all about Bruce.

Why don't you compare their respective records at Newcastle? There's nothing in it. So why is one adored and one hated?
