Ok then who has made more money on selling players since 07/08 season
Then take one away from the other for net spend its not hard

Thing is..... and we say this all the time you can strengthen with a low or negative net spend. What matters is how you spend not what you spend. Look at Liverpool sold their main playmaker for 140 million but bought van dyke and almost had enough for Allison without having to add much. It's called smart business and not a reason to slag an owner! Spurs got to euro cup final with no spend that season at all. Most clubs will buy now and sell high which will keep club going. Or you could buy almost on and joelinton and piss money away.

We've done it one way. Pissing money up the wall and not making money back and I'd certainly prefer the new way we're rumored to be going.

So sticking with the much loved "net spend" since 07/08 season NEW £9.7M per season SUN £10.7M per season based on the £136M & £150M

Yep. Our owners for the last decade have been the very definition of incompetence and we know it. You on the other hand as you have shown have been extremely well controlled and are now two divisions above us. Additionally your owner has put you in a better position than 90% of the 50 or so clubs you are competing with.
Yet you spend your time shouting at shops, mocking funerals, painting spunk stained bedsheets, and punching horses.

So you’re saying that Sunderland‘s net spend has been regularly higher than Newcastle’s, yet Sunderland ended up two divisions lower. Sounds like you’re implying that Ashley is doing a good job in controlling the clubs spending.
