Bruce always seems to be "unlucky" with injuriesTo be fair we've been crucified with injuries to the major players.

The f***ing Chronic man. They're a joke![]()
This ^No. The bottom 2 and Brighton to go.
Cant see them getting anything from Villa but can see them beating Brighton and a draw v Sheff UtdThe next few games will decide it imo.
Just had a look at their last 6 games of the season
Liverpool (H)
Arsenal (A)
Leicester (H)
City (A)
Sheff Utd (H)
Fulham (A)
If they don't win their next 2 against Villa and Brighton they're in serious trouble.
I'd be surprised if he gets sacked, he's the perfect puppet for Ashley who I think would be happy to roll the dice on bouncing straight back up again. He's also got a fair bit on at the moment keeping his retail empire afloat during a pandemic.
Yes you do not like him but he has spent. Again you do not think enough then fine but he spent last time in Championship and probably will again. He must be mad like cos hes hated so i would say fuck it, sell up at a knock doen price and never look back. Theres worse owners believe meAye thankful for the one sole reason we would have been relegated. Again
Brighton and Fulham both have the mags at home.
They had the likes of Wjinaldum, Sissoko and Townsend, who brought in £80-90m alone. They also had a younger squad, and a lot of players who had a good reputation in Europe (Cabella, Thauvin etc.) who they knew they could offload easily for half decent money.
This time around, Saint Maximin would fetch a similar fee, but other than that, I'm not sure. They might get back what they paid for Almiron, and a half decent fee for Wilson, but they wouldn't have the breathing room they had last time. I don't see them walking the league.
Hopefully the gan bustDifferent economic climate now though
Believe it or not i did last night and nearly posted itI genuinely thought that was Richard Keys dressed up as an arab

That's how I took it too if that helpsMight be misreading it, but I thought your post was suggesting that the mags doing so well and enjoying the championship was the reason why so many of ours said relegation would at least mean we could win a few games. I don't think it was affected by how well they'd done, I think any relegated set of fans will expect to enjoy winning more games the next season since you'd naturally expect to be in the upper half of the table
