Fulham and Brighton actually play decent football and create chances. The Mags don't and I think Burnley will be safe

That's how come we had idiots on here looking forward to "actually winning a few games".

To be fair I don't think that's why it happened. I'd expect that the vast majority of the time a side goes down they'll end up winning quite a few more the next season. Its just that, typically, we managed to buck the trend and be just as shit in the league below!

Might be misreading it, but I thought your post was suggesting that the mags doing so well and enjoying the championship was the reason why so many of ours said relegation would at least mean we could win a few games. I don't think it was affected by how well they'd done, I think any relegated set of fans will expect to enjoy winning more games the next season since you'd naturally expect to be in the upper half of the table
