I'm not that fussed. I think I'd prefer to see them getting beat most weeks and struggling at the bottom of the Premier League than winning week in, week out in the Championship. I hate seeing them win no matter what league they are in.

Why would we thank him? He's the idiot who hasn't learned from his mistakes and got us into a relegation fight, again.

All he'd need to do to have a PL side, bringing in £100m+ every year, is appoint a good manager and leave the football up to him.
If you are relegated he will have to spend again. Yes he may not have learnt but you going to need someone who will spend and he will

I’m not on about big fees for any of them but they could offload if they needed

They could, but in Hayden and Lascelles they'd be offloading potential key players in a promotion challenge. Last time around they were able to get good money for players who obviously weren't going to be in their plans for the Championship. They have a lot fewer players in that category this time around. They will definitely be up around the top end of the table, but I don't see them wrapping up the league with games to spare like they have in previous years.

It's all academic anyway, because I think they have a good chance of staying up.
