This. Though if they go down they'll get big money for Saint Max. Spurs/Everton will probs pay £40 odd million for him. They'd probably get decent money for Almiron from a Spanish or Italian side. I think a lot of their current squad would be good enough in the championship. They have smashed it the last two times they've been down there. I think it all depends on who they get in as a manager.
Smashed it ? They were lucky to win the league because others around them folded ! They looked like playoffs at best

They’re all convinced on mag 606 that yesterday’s high court defeat is irrefutable evidence that they’re going to win arbitration and the takeover is a formality 🤔

What High Court defeat? What did I miss?

I really don't see big money being spent this transfer window. The likes of Almiron and St. Maximin would have raised big money years ago. Theyre potentially decent players... maybe. But Covid has changed that. You only have to look at the January window to realise that the money isnt being flashed about. Someone said £40million for St. Maximin? I cant see it. This will be a buyers market with players changing hands for much less than normal. And Big Mike only deals in Net Spend. He wont get as much for his "stars", and thats all down to covid. If he gets less, he spends less. His high street businesses have been hammered as well remember.

Not having fans in will have hit club finances, no one knows what capacity at stadia might be for the new season. Spending £40million on a one trick pony with hardly any commitment, but "potential" will be an expense too far for most clubs

Agree. Reports today that Koulibaly may go for 40m, when it was 70m/80m previously. Grealish may stay at Villa as no one will pay the mega bucks price. It may be a buyers market but there may be no liquidity in the market as teams are reluctant to sell at reduced prices. Albeit that will depend on how long left on contracts, relegation clauses etc.

If any potential incoming owner was complicit in offences against minors there'd rightly be hell on.
If any potential incoming owner was complicit in offences against women, the local MP would be up in arms as would self-respecting fans.

Because the potential incoming owner is one of the richest men in the world EVERYONE of Mag persuasion is prepared to ignore the fact he has been pretty much been called a murderer by the CIA. They've also hounded Khasoggi's fiance on twitter and dismissed without question the opinions of Amnesty International.

It's been obvious all along to an outsider looking in that the rebuttal of the takeover by the PL was all to do with the Khasoggi incident and other human rights abuses. It's got FA to do with Richard Masters being awkward and FA to do with some top 6 conspiracy against the Mags.

Their fans, local journalists and disgracefully their MP really need to take their heads out of their arses and question their humanity.

Which explains why the FA couldn't be "transparent". There is no way that the FA or Masters could outright say "we don't want the murdering bastards". So they've been put in an awkward spot of having to stay tight lipped which fuels the mag conspiracy.

The mystery to me is why the Saudis made no attempt to hide their involvement. I cant believe that if they wanted Newcastle so badly they wouldn't have found a way.

The f***ing scum would have welcomed Hitler if he was prepared to put big money into the Club. Then they would have tried to justify his actions.

If the Saudi murderers had tried to buy any other Club, including ours, the Mags would have been the biggest objectors. FACT

We know it they know it the whole of England knows it.

Made right mugs of themselves even more than usual over this failed takeover that was more of a fluffing and left with blue balls.

The Saudi deal is dead. What it does mean is that whoever buys them now will never match what they thought they were going to become. Every owner in future will never be good enough. Fuck this "we only want rid of Ashley and don't care who it is" and "we just want a club that tries" bollocks. Any new owner will get slaughtered when they don't become the actual World Super Power they believe in their heads they deserve to be. Morons to a man.

That's pretty much it. If it isn't Elon Musk, there will be a #wewantsaudi campaign again, fuelled by the Chronic finding a tenuous link to make them believe the Saudis are still fighting for it.

"Sources in Saudi say that PiF have renewed interest in NUFC after reports a UK based consortium have begun talks with Mike Ashley"

Genuine question, isn’t this the time of the year the mags season ticket renewals are up?

Won't happen for a long time if at all.

Each side selects a judge for arbitration, they between them select a 3rd party to make 3 arbitration judges.

The judge selected by nufc chose a 3rd party which nufc has disputed the impartiality of. Based on the choice of the judge they themselves chose.
Questioning the impartiality of your favoured choice. Insane.

This arbitration process started in October, only now got to court this week and it's in dispute already before anything takes place. It'll literally be years before this is resolved.

Some fans think this arbitration will result in a sale of the club, but it won't. This is only a dispute with the premier league O&D test and the application of the rules around that..

Once all this is through the courts it will be about 2025.
But by 2022 or even summer 2021 it will have collapsed because it's a dispute over a take over that didn't happen in 2020 and won't be happening for years
