you only need 2 less than fulham. they'll have just as bad fixtures. After we play WBA, villa and Brighton, we then have
Tottenham h, Burnley a, West Ham h, Liverpool a, Arsenal h, Leicester a, Man City h.
Then final two games Sheffield United at home and Fulham away.
I will be surprised if we get 10 more points.

Everyone of the fuckers are still peddling the agenda that PIF are still all over this. Its been dead for ages. Click baitWhat conversations?
They walked away man
Or is there new people interested now?
But but butI reckon the insurance clain over sexual abuse hanging over the club will be more important than 2 players getting injured takeover wise.

I don't think they are overrated.. Almiron has come in leaps and bounds a very good player who will give all for his team... As for St Maximin has got great feet you Darnt go anywhere near him .. Granted they don't score enough goals and will struggle further with these 2 out ....HTL
Fish/Sabre/Waster et. al - lets see how good you are at predicting your results and we will announce a winner after the BHA game. Sunderland lads welcome also. Rules are as per Lawro (a correct result (picking a win, draw or defeat) is worth 10 points. The exact score earns 40 points)

I’m in my late seventies and must admit I went to Sid James and Ayresome Park if Sunderland were away. I just enjoyed watching football, no tv saturation then also went to Hartlepool. There would have been Sunderland fans in cheering on the mags. Wouldn't have been unusual at the time. My uncle (RIP) was a staunch lads fan but he'd watch them when we were away back in the day just to watch a game of football.
Cheers Sabre. It's just a bit of fun to dampen these dark days. Hopefully we can get a lot more and I will put the results up each week.Done. I have us on 1 point

I think it was quite common pre-premier league
My dad's mate (and his son) were Newcastle and they would come to Roker and we would go to St James a few times a season.
My grandad used to take me to Darlington a lot when I stayed with him as a kid. Still have a bit of a soft spot for them.
I have to admit I'd never, ever heard of that game. There'a few good quiz questions in there . Eg which club apart from Sunderland brought the most fans to Roker park ? Not including the 200,000 locked out .Pathe has some excellent links for those interested in really old fixturesYou must be logged on to see media items
