Mine was a genuine question as to why the attendance at a game was a fraction of what it was previously. If it was a Sunderland game I am certain a knowledgeable poster would provide a valid reason but alas @Sombrero and @Wolfbeard ’s knowledge of their own team is distinctly wanting.

With Hall/Shepherd, they were the Chelsea of the mid ,90s. They still fkd it up. They even forget to mention finishing 6th in 94-95 thus missing out on Uefa cup place despite he huge advantage of Halls millions.

If she wins, I bet the speculation will be that she will have enough of her own money to buy out Ashley.


Also Saudi investment (according to one article I read was £50million a year). Hardly the amount you would need to fund that side they were getting excited about

If she wins theres no way she will use her own money to fund it fully. She was only putting in 10% and was going to spend the Saudi money of 80%. Plus the investment and infrastructure would run into 100s of millions. The ground is falling to bits, they dont own it anyway, the training facilities at Benton are no better than Scrogg Stadium in Walker and the investment in players only to move up a few places would be nonsensical. Also if they do get relegated they have no chance of anyone matching Mike's valuation. Not a f***ing chance shes going in on her Todd
