The players look half arsed. Something's definitely wrong and I do think he's lost the dressing room, or most of it.
His excuses have worn down to the bone.

I'd happily take relegation just to get to watch some decent football with an aim for the top end of the table, rather than the aim to simply hang in with the usual pack so clubs that fight to be at the top of the bottom 3.

People might say " what do you want...you're in the premier league...think yourself lucky."
Normally I'd agree but I can't stomach 1 decent game of football followed by 10 mind numbing games.

I do have sympathy there, that sounds exactly like us (Palace), although Wilf single handedly wins us a few more games. I can't take another minute of watching 11 men behind the ball hoping for a lucky corner, in the desperate hope of finishing above 3 other sides

It really is bizarre that any fan could want their club to lose really badly in order to get rid of a manager. Best fans in the world? With an attitude like that you arent even the best fans in Newcastle

I didn't want Bruce as manager because he's been rubbish everywhere he's been over 20 years. He done ok with Wigan and Sunderland for a season. The fact he's managed Sunderland wasn't an issue. I said it on this board at the time of his appointment I hoped he done better than Benitez. But I didn't think he would because he's not very good.
Now I think relegation is a real possibility and the longer he's in the job the bigger that threat is. We are losing games, and will continue to, but the manner of defeat will help make up the board's mind. The quicker they lose faith with him the better. Held on too long with McClaren, held on too long with Carver as well.
I doubt it, but I'd hope they'd learn from mistakes about acting slowly. So the worse the defeats (which happen either way) the quicker he's sacked.

You've just listed 3 names that should tell you what we all know - Bruce, McClaren, Carver.

If the 'long suffering' mags had suffered as we have as a fan base, they would have lost all of their post '92 support. Likely 50% off the fan base overnight.
And they wonder why the football world thinks them deluded.

If Newcastle were coached to get at teams and balanced enough to cater for it, then yes, we may get the odd spanking, with the odd spanking given out to teams...and a mixture of all kinds, in between, like most teams.

I consistently hear the old, 'oh Newcastle will get hammered if they have a go' and it makes no sense.

But Benitez didn't do that either!
So that makes no sense or logic either!
