It is now 25 years since the "entertainers" - perhaps they should ring up Inter Milan on their direct line and ask them to send a team over to celebrate more than 65 years since they won anything of any prestige. Inter will send their "C" team.

I hear this phrase "entertainment" bandied about but if Newcastle went at teams they would get spanked. They haven't got the quality at the back and midfield to keep teams at bay. It is all well and good in theory but conceding 5/6's whilst getting 1/2's is not sustainable.

Poor man's True Geordie.

He wants to be a YouTube star and make some form of career from it. Being upset and angry brings him views (mostly from us I reckon). Mid table obscurity and commenting on a 1-1 draw doesn't get him the views. He will be loving this.

I'm sure not every supporter of your team thinks and speaks the same as you, but I bet it's a high percentage. Sunderland is no perfect fan base, and often we have very different views amongst us, but we laugh at your lot because you are so different.
Why would you want your own team to lose football games, and heavy defeats?
His voice? He's from Wallsend, you're from Wallsend.
You are a mediocre premier league club, and your league position is a reflection of that. You've probably found your level. You are in the premier league, not the championship or league 1. You will never win the league, nor will Sunderland, but unlike you we are aware of that.
But knowing how deluded you are, I bet you want Rafa back - even if he relegates you.

Bruce is probably the bets you can get, maybe Eddie Howe.

Tell me, who do YOU think will manage you after Bruce?

At the risk of getting this post deleted, they are the football equivalent of people who voted Remain wanting there to be food shortages and unemployed fisherman just to prove they knew best.

They built up Benitez as a hero. He didnt deliver and left for money. In came Bruce and he didnt have the profile, they didnt want him in the first place and they want him to fail.

What A Waster said it himself. He wants heavy defeats. Heavy defeats that may well see them relegated... purely because Bruce isn't a manager that fits their deluded profile, unlike hasbeen Rafa.

They need to go down, they need to struggle down there and they need a dose of reality. They are not the club now that they were when most started supporting them almost 30 years ago

Totally agree. Especially that Spurs game. But I think they're too lacking in confidence to get away with that nine at the back thing again.I've watched their last three games and they can't defend can't score...Not a great combination! Spawning a few more nil nils wouldn't be enough anymore they need to win

I didn't want Bruce as manager because he's been rubbish everywhere he's been over 20 years. He done ok with Wigan and Sunderland for a season. The fact he's managed Sunderland wasn't an issue. I said it on this board at the time of his appointment I hoped he done better than Benitez. But I didn't think he would because he's not very good.
Now I think relegation is a real possibility and the longer he's in the job the bigger that threat is. We are losing games, and will continue to, but the manner of defeat will help make up the board's mind. The quicker they lose faith with him the better. Held on too long with McClaren, held on too long with Carver as well.
I doubt it, but I'd hope they'd learn from mistakes about acting slowly. So the worse the defeats (which happen either way) the quicker he's sacked.

I can’t be arsed looking but I bet Rafa has spent more time in the bottom 3 than Bruce has at Newcastle.

When Rafa was in the bottom 3, it wasn’t his fault.

I hope you get your wish. I hope you lose heavily in the next two games and he goes. And I hope those heavy losses send you down on goal difference.

It really is bizarre that any fan could want their club to lose really badly in order to get rid of a manager. Best fans in the world? With an attitude like that you arent even the best fans in Newcastle
