How f***ing hard is it to understand......pick a team and look at their spending over a 2/4/6/8/10 yr period and a couple of seasons big spending will be followed by a season of players sold
With the exception of Southampton no other premiership club has spent less......you really think Fat Mike doesn't look at net spend over a few seasons
You’re getting really boring now with your net spend rants. If there was a trophy for net spend whinging, you lads would have your name on it every season.

Tha attacking options that are back after the international break you mean?

They’ll finish 16th or 17th I reckon.

I've said this before. But I will say it again.

Net Spend is important, but not in the way the mags think.

At any level, the best run club in the world improves year on year with a negative net spend. Because it has a policy of developing players, and selling them on while replacing them with cheaper players and building them up, while overall improving the squad.

The worst run club spends millions more than it recieves and doesn't improve but gets worse

A decent run club. Has a near 0 net spend and doesn't get significantly better or worse.

Newcastle fans aren't interested in that though. Because Net Spend to Newcastle fans only means one thing. Its a convenient excuse to why they aren't winning things and why Ashley is "ruining" their club.

I'm sure some mags would rather the likes of,
Cabaye
Sissoko
Wijnaldum
Townsend
Etc,etc...were complete and utter flops and left on free transfers, they'd be in a much worse position and in shitloads of debt, but hey think of the net spend.

They really are thick.

Look at our 'net spend’ and see what good it did us. It’s a pointless argument unless you think you should be Man City etc

Clubs cost a shitload to run. Football is not just wages and transfers. It’s a full structure of academy, admin, ground staff, stadium and property maintenance etc etc.
Life and business is so simple to some...

Yes "net spend".....Fat Mike balanced the books with some big sales to keep his net spend down to its current level of £150M over the last 14 years...£10.7M per season average net spend.....trust me they are the only figures he keeps an eye on and contrary to all on here who think he's pumped £100s M in to the club

No you've got it all wrong, when big Mike makes a profit on player sales it goes in his back pocket.🤑🤑

I don't give a fuck. If you hate him then carry on.

We are not interested.

NET SPEND crazy this one. Loves it

BIG MIKE OWNS THE CLUB AND CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK HE LIKES WITH IT.

HE'S A FANTASTIC BUSINESSMAN AND OWNER AND YOU WOULD HAVE FOLDED AND NOT EXIST ANYMORE HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR HIM.

YOU ARE IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE ON A SOUND FINANCIAL FOOTING WITH SALEABLE ASSETS AND REACHED THE QUARTER FINALS OF BOTH CUPS.

YOU HAVE ONE OF YOUR OWN AS MANAGER AND HAVE SPENT £100M ON PLAYERS OVER THE LAST 18 MONTHS.

HE RIDDED YOU OF A CHARLATAN WHO WANTED UNLIMITED FUNDS THAT WOULD HAVE PUT THE CLUB IN SERIOUS FINANCIAL HOCK AND WHEN HE REALISED MIKE WASNT GOING TO RISK THE CLUBS EXISTENCE TO MOVE A FEW PLACES UP THE LEAGUE HE FUCKED OFF DESPITE DECLARING HIS UNDYING LOVE FOR THE FANS.

MIKE WILL OWN YOU UNTIL HE DIES AND THEN HIS SON WILL TAKE OVER.

UNLUCKY...YOULL GET OVER IT YOU DELUDED SCRUFFY TWATS

And it’s got them in a relegation scrap, won f**k all since years before I was born and have a shit team to boot. Haway the net spend. It’s working wonders.

Finally found lower one Southampton £7M since being promoted in 2012......but they have sold a shit load of players for big money

Don't know where your getting your figures from but they are wrong

Well they aren't wrong as the website you've sourced is not factual at all.

Just shows how stupid you really are.

Hendrick and Fraser go down as 0 on the old net spend.

If you sold them you would recoup 30m

That is why net spend is the stupidest most moronic way you can measure how much a club spends. Gross spend with wages factored in is most accurate assessment but that doesn't support your argument does it
