Thats a good point, another season in purgatory will be good.
The point was pretty much the perfect result, it keeps them just above water and more importantly it keeps Bruce in the job.
If ever there was a time for them to go down it is now! That squad is woeful and without huge investment they won't go back up. We would also have a derby, if we go up. Can't believe people are taking the view it is best they stay up. MA is a willing seller and if they secure Prem status they will be sold one way or another.

Mate, I want them down, just seeing the positives in the last minute equaliser.

I think you'll find the Klopp era is much lower.

Net spend is meaningless as all net spend shows is the success of scouting and recruitment.

There are teams that have bypassed Newcastle on a much lower net spend but funny how that doesn't get mentioned much
If you want to be picky its £22M...Leicester £22M (Last 6 yrs)....Burnley £12M (since being promoted in 15/16)Crystal Palace £16M since being promoted 13/14)

All higher than NUFC do you want some more

What division were Hereford in when they dumped your scruffs out of the FA cup? Pretty sure they were in a pretty low league

adds an extra year because he knows over the last 5 seasons NUFC have spent 21.5m a season

taken from last season

1. Man City – £601.98m
2. Man Utd – £484.88m
3. Arsenal – £267.88m
4. Everton – £225.42m
5. Brighton – £214.86m
6. Wolves – £205.22m
7. West Ham – £187.49m
8. Bournemouth – £176.95m
9. Aston Villa – £166.65m
10. Watford – £125.69m
11. Leicester City – £124.83m
12. Newcastle – £122.91m
13. Chelsea – £115.57m
14. Liverpool – £107.58m
15. Tottenham – £106.62m
16. Crystal Palace – £75.69m
17. Burnley – £59.4m
18. Sheffield United – £56.71m
19. Southampton – £22.32m
20. Norwich City – £25.42m profit

Higher net spend than Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs

Just points out how ridiculous it is to use net spend as an argument

Finally found lower one Southampton £7M since being promoted in 2012......but they have sold a shit load of players for big money

Don't know where your getting your figures from but they are wrong

Net spend is very relevant.....if you chose any team team except Man Utd/City they all have a season when they sell a shit load of players to balance the books....Banks conveniently missed out Chelsea £221m paid out £55 brought in last season but started the season before £41m paid out £141m brought in in

Chelsea last 5 years £265M...£53m net spend ......they balanced the books a couple of season, come on lads keep its not hard just basic maths

So it's ok for Southampton to sell a shit load of players for big money but not Newcastle as this affects the net spend argument.
I'm sure you'd love all your buys to be flops, that would get the net spend up.

Worra set of f***ing divies.

How f***ing hard is it to understand......pick a team and look at their spending over a 2/4/6/8/10 yr period and a couple of seasons big spending will be followed by a season of players sold
With the exception of Southampton no other premiership club has spent less......you really think Fat Mike doesn't look at net spend over a few seasons

Piss off man you boring ****

We will struggle but just stay up so at least 2 years before you play us.......you've still got to get out of 3rd division then the 2nd division which will cost your Boy wonder a fair chunk of cash
They're not called that anymore I know you're thick as whale spunk but just thought I'd help you out

Another daft mag to avoid on here
