What’s this new badge @cheeses of nazereth has knocked up I’ve missed it.
They wouldn't understand it fella.Oh my word. Any Mag on here needs that as the answer.
I think Newcastle would be the main one. The Premier League gives them by far the most exposure for their sports washing.Definitely seems as if they're looking at it, which suggests they have a plan which involves more than just owning the mags. Thing is, if they have two or three clubs they're not going to be "doing a Man City" on all of them. I'd assume Inter would be the main one as they're already a decent European team. Would suggest the mags, and Marseille if they get them, will just be part of a stable of clubs, probably bought because the price was reasonable compared to top sides here with room to make a profit for them. They'd no doubt still improve the mags, which apparently is all they wanted, but now they've got the hopes of winning leagues and cups and challenging for the champions league like Man City I think you'd quickly see it collapse if they realise that's not what they're getting. Time will tell.
Haway man, they've only had 18 months to decide what they were going to do once they got through the door. Why is Bruce still in a job?
Luke Edwards suggesting they had no plans as it wasn't expected to be sorted so quick?![]()
But it don't sing and dance and it don't walkMoney talks
Me too. Might have put the wind up the mags for a minute or twoI like him

Seems a bit pointless buying Inter in that case though. Newcastle gives them more exposure but they'll have to spend billions to get them near the top in Europe. Would seem daft if you also own a club that isn't too far away as it is. Realistically just improving Newcastle and aiming to get them into the champions league would be a major expense and would tick the box of exposure without having to them go to the next level. God knows what they're up to! For me if your aim was to sportswash your reputation and get a club to compete with Qatar and UAE, you would just need one "big" club. Get Newcastle, make that "your" club, make them successful. Seems daft having two or three. Having more than one makes more sense if you think football is going to be a lucrative market and you want clubs in a few divisions, which would be more aiming for profit rather than spending billions on successI think Newcastle would be the main one. I see where you’re coming from. I don’t think the money will be an issue for them though.Seems a bit pointless buying Inter in that case though. Maybe wanting teams from different countries for the ESL?Seems a bit pointless buying Inter in that case though. Tonight? How many the mags bringing for the game tonight? Im hearing a few thousand![]()
No idea in your new manager but I’d pretty confident they’ll choose wisely. From the outside it’s a cracking setup. Although it’s football so you just never f***ing knowI reckon Rodgers will go.
The last 6/12 months have felt like something is not right behind the scenes. Many rumblings if discontent.
Wouldn't be surprised at all and as much as I don't want him to go it's probably the right time.
Feels like he's taken us as far as he can. Delighted with what he's achieved and have no idea who would replace him but feels like it is probably a good time.
