If they didn't have a pot to piss in nobody would be arsed. We've just got to suck it up on this one. I'm more than happy with our owner, and the direction that we are finally going in after a farcical few years. That's what's important to me. Despite all the euphoria up there, there's still a decent chance we could play them next season. They aren't just suddenly going to start winning games.

To educate you PIF only has to submit a 13F form to the SEC each quarter - unless you a regular visitor to sec.gov you would have no idea (or use Bloomberg) you would have no idea who they own, and even then it is backward looking.

Insulting people on Twitter and climbing into the back seat of an Uber doesn’t do anything to cleanse the image of a repressive regime. Allowing them to buy one of our best-loved football clubs and use it as a vehicle for the most egregious example of sports- washing we have seen so far does exactly that.

As we're in an international break Bruce was expected to have been removed and a caretaker, most likely Jones, announced as a temporary caretaker only.

I'm most certainly not!!! My point was that up until they became involved with them up the road I'd never heard a fellow Sunderland fan complain about their human rights issues. None of us gave a toss so I'm not going to pretend to get all worked up about it now. If they'd bought us I wouldn't be bothered about it either and that's the truth. I'm just a football fan and I just want to go along and enjoy the match. No doubt they are the same. We're also at the beginning of a new era under a new owner and we're going along nicely. I'd rather concentrate on that.

The national media have barely mentioned it in the last few days at a time when they have no football matches to fill their pages.
