Durham mags really stink of![]()
We'd noticed your mild excremental spamming but under the special circumstances your silliness has been tolerated.Dear lads and lasses..I must apologise for my sillyness tonight..I've sampled too many today and I probably come across a bit annoying ( apologies again)
But I love me Sunderland brethren!![]()
Well I think compared to the names you lot will be known as now then I will just sayTry the song evidently chickentown. Yous were know for this years ago well before the SOL 97ers came
Thank you..its very much appreciatedWe'd noticed your mild excremental spamming but under the special circumstances your silliness has been tolerated.
Mind up the road, once they can find someone who can spell, they're typing up your fatwah.
So no need to hold your breath.
What can I do about these people? I live 300 miles away, i personally don't know any of them. You come across as a reasonable bloke - but just like your previous post you're choosing your targets and avoiding the ones about your fans.
If the situation were reversed you wouldn't find me on a Newcastle message board laughing at NUFC fans pointing out that SAFC fans were abusing widows, minimising 130,000 deaths and ignoring KSA NUFC accounts telling gay SAFC fans to "die".
I'd be too f***ing embarrassed.
37,000 immediately upon relegation in 2009. 15,000 off the gate for going down.We will see. We were getting 52,000 in the championship to be fair to us.
I still recall SAFC fans getting Kennedy ran out of his SAFC job with the Echo instantly. Quite right as well. How wonderful paragon of journalistic integrity Liam “Lightbulb Heed” Kennedy was selected for comment
Good job he was wrapped up for winter, his new masters aren’t too keen about tattoos
I think what he means is that nobody on here gave a shiney shite about the Saudis human rights record a few years ago and now everyone is pretending to be up in arms about it. If people were so bothered why wait till now, why not protest years ago about them?
They've got their takeover. It's happened. I'm not going to pretend to be outraged about something I've never given a toss about before just because they've bought them lot. I guarantee if they'd bought Arsenal or the like nobody on here would bat an eyelid. We've just got to concentrate on what we do and be the best, most competitive football club we can be and I think we are on the right track in that regard. Hopefully being in direct competition against the richest club in World football for supporters, young talent and, fingers crossed, on the pitch again when we return to the PL sooner rather than later, can drive our club on and give us the extra determination to do all of that.
Why have you lot hounded out Ashley. I mean protest after protest after protest. You've made your feelings know for years about himWhat can I do about these people? I live 300 miles away, i personally don't know any of them.
I'm laughing at the way this board has reacted to the takeover.
I'm pretty sure it was mocked for years on here, and yet here we are. Now there's a sudden interest in the behaviour of the Saudi regime. It's a bit late now as that shit has been going on for years.
I don't know what you expect the average Newcastle fan to do. I've followed them for decades seeing them get beat everywhere. Am I supposed to stop what is my main interest because someone who I don't like has sold them to someone I like even less? Am I supposed to come up with a solution to the problems in the middle east?
The funniest thing about this is you lot seem to have accepted that Newcastle will be bank rolled to win trophy after trophy. I'm not even convinced that these lot will put in that much so success is not guaranteed. You have one owner who can't have that much money to her name, another who appear to have money but not enough to buy the club outright. Is the 80% owner going to fund most of the investment?
TBH, since the news broke some on this board have gone on like raging fannies.
Sigh. Without wishing to reopen the controversy, it would be disingenuous if I didn't mention the circumstances of Di Canios arrival. I thought it was handled abysmally. The media frenzy which followed it was deeply unedifying - these things often are - but it originated from the resignation of David Miliband, one of Sunderland's own directors, a former Foreign Secretary, and a man whose family fled to Britain to escape persecution from fascism. Whether or not you accept his motivation, it was that which made the ISSUE of Di Canio's alleged political views relevant, heightened by our region's push to eradicate intolerance from society in general and football in particular. The tone of outrage from the club was misplaced. Di Canio addressed it; fine, good, that's the end of it as far as I'm concerned, albeit with a caveat. For all the accompanying dismay, one of the great pleasures of covering Sunderland over the years has been the club's firm sense of place, tradition and community. For me, that has been dented. And I hate writing that.

Anyone posted this already? As the tweet says, it could be posturing, but suggestions that BeIn has not obtained a licence to broadcast in Saudi. We are three (?) days in.![]()
About as hilarious as cheesy chips and blue pop then?Try the song evidently chickentown. Yous were know for this years ago well before the SOL 97ers came
Pages of stuff about Khashoggi on here iirc. Could be buried in the trump thread but I remember disscussing it with contempt and disgustThat's totally untrue as previous criticism of Qatar and their World Cup has shown.
It's not until a country with poor human rights comes into football that it's discussed on a football forum.

It's not like unless I've missed all the 1000s of posts of outrage about PSG. Honestly 99.9% of people on here couldn't care less about the human rights situation in Saudi before they were linked with the Mags and that's a fact. I'm not going to pretend to be suddenly outraged about it now. I'm more bothered about them being loaded, turning them into a force, and young fans from traditional Sunderland areas turning to them. That's genuinely my only concern. I live in Peterlee and I seen it happen in the 90s and that was without them winning a thing. Pre 1992 you didn't see a mag in or around our area, a few years later it was crawling with them.
